REPORT RECEIVED: From the GCBRO Online Report Submission Form

DATE: 4/96

TIME: 9-10 pm

LOCATION: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, north of Moe in the bush
Gippsland

TERRAIN: National Forest , mountain hills scrub bush forest dry Aussie bush

OBSERVED: Well first my friends made a noise I was curious then they panic and made a quick get away and by that time I had reach where they were standing and I saw what they ran from and for about 5 sec before I ran I saw a large Yowie well it appeared to be, nearly 7 feet just wading through the scrub east I was facing north
and it was very broad shoulders much larger that describe by bigfoot sightings there was no smell but there was sound only branches snapping it appeared to be dark brown but it was dark.
For those few days we heard a lot of bushes rustling at night and we saw a object that looked like what people describe as a nest but we didn't go to close I was only 14 and very afraid know one believed us and we forgot about it. IT never really bothered me.

Activities of Witness: We were not doing anything just on school camp and we were just hiding and stuff that night trying to scare people we were away from the main group.

Description of Creature: 7 feet tall

Other Notes: I don't know of any myself except a few that happened like in the 50's or something. I ask my grandparents who lived in that area for a while.
The place is very remote once you get into the Australian bush unless you go back the way you came there is nothing around or nobody

There are a lot of reports from farmers who live at the edge of the bush along the great dividing range who get chased
on there horses and so forth.
Where I was is one end of the great dividing range

Other Other Notes:

From the files of Dean Harrison
(G.C.B.R.O.)
Australian Division
Report submitted by Dean Harrison. Witness information confidential

DATE: July 94.

LOCATION: Murray River. Victoria and New South Wales.

TERRAIN: On the edge of the Murray River

OBSERVED: Three Men on a fishing Weekend were drifting on a small boat with the tide along the Murray River.

The Murray River runs along the border of Victoria and New South Wales.

As they were drifting silently for quite some time, they rounded a corner were they found three hairy 'beings' resembling large hairy people standing on the edge of the river.
One of the Men recall that they were down wind of the Creatures and that the three were looking the other way.
As they neared, they could see there were Two Adults and one small one presumably a 'child'.
Surprised at what they saw, they began to talk nervously amongst themselves. The small one turned around and when seeing the boat coming towards them 'squealed', alerting the larger creatures, and they all ran quickly into the forest.

The three men started the Engine into the bank where they were standing and gave chase, but they were no where to be seen.

Other Notes: None

Description of Creature: Large and Hairy.
