Fella's, It is possible this structure is pre set as a hunting blind. Built at a time other than when they are ready for the hunt. This would neutralize their odor, eliminate disturbance of leaf litter, hunting time, bring in the fresh pine for covering the blind, and bedding that will cover the sent they carry in with them. Deer have a good sense of smell. J.M.H.O . Nightwind
