Today we’d like to write about a little known cryptid, Bigfoot-like creature, the Koolookamba. The Koolookamba is mostly sighted in the rainforests of Gabon in Africa. Gabon is mostly covered with dense forest and is about the size of the United Kingdom. While many species of great ape are known to be here, the Koolookamba is said to be something entirely different. People who claim to have seen the Koolookamba say the animal is around five to six foot tall. The most distinguishing thing about this cryptid is that witnesses say it is some form of hybrid, a cross between a Gorilla and a Chimpanzee. Witnesses also describe the animal as having human-like features. So what could this creature be? Is it an African Sasquatch? Is it some form of unknown Great Ape, perhaps an unclassified species of Chimp or Gorilla? Nearly all of the eyewitnesses say the creature walks on all fours. This seems to rule out that the animal is a Bigfoot but we should not rule this possibility out, as we shall see from sightings by Westerners. Are we really dealing with a Gorilla-Chimp hybrid? As we have seen before, anything is possible in the natural world.
Westerners have seen the Koolookamba. A man named Stephen Holmes spotted the creature in a remote coastal area of Gabon in 1993. He described the animal as having dark hair, walking bipedal, with its’ arms raised in the air. Local people say that the Koolookamba is extremely aggressive. This differs from other reports of Sasquatch/Bigfoot from other parts of the world so we here at Bigfoot - Believers Only believe we are dealing with some kind of Great Ape, undiscovered by modern science. If this is true, it would certainly rock the Scientific community.
