The Goofus bird is a mythical, backwards-flying bird, originating in lumberjack folklore in North America. It is also called variously as the Filla-ma-loo bird or the Flu-fly bird. The Goofus Bird flies backwards. It is described as having a conspicuous appearance, with a turkey-like head, long green neck, with silver scales, a black right wing and a pink left wing.

Note: In my opinion; This creature may perhaps be inspired by a real bird. A bird where the tail is similar to the head [Maybe a form of camouflage]. A bird with these characteristics; And seen from afar could inspire the legendary Goofus bird; A legend about a bird that flies backwards.

So in my opinion we should consider this creature a possible cryptid. It may be some species already identified or a species not yet identified; who can may still exist or be extinct. The fact is that perhaps the legend is inspired by a real bird
