There has been some talk about bigfoot using scent to help mark places where trail markers are. I may have experienced that in the past during one of the Bennett Expeditions. Doing some reading this morning I came across this that could help answer that question. It is from the GCBRO sightings page. http://www.gcbro.com/LArapides02-01-2016.html

I found it interesting that this gal witnessed what she first thought was a human doing a number 2 late at night in the woods. Dug a hole to hide it? Mark a trail?
