SD TR24 Informant, a Lakota Sioux, comments that back on the Rosebud Reservation, South Dakota, 25 years 1968 ago, Bigfoot came to the house, "one night a few years back I heard this noise...a great big seven foot tall man, hairy...I gave him something to eat and he went on." The Lakota Sioux Indians called the beast "Si-yoko." Informant says that in 1910 a Catholic priest, Father Duechel, wrote a Lakota/English dictionary. "Sin had to do with "paw"; Siha, the sole of the foot; Si-oko, the spaces between the toes; and Si-yoko, referred to the mythical wicked "Big Bad Man." Parents 70. years ago used to scare the children with, "don't do that, or Siyoko will get you."
