1100 year old Persian Sasquatch Effigy?

This is a Iranian horse breastplate made from a copper alloy from around 800-900 BC. The creature
on it seems to be a sasquatch wrestling two oxen. Powerful animals were often depicted in Persian
sculpture.

Before you start to say this is impossible, keep in mind that modern day Iran is not a sold desert
. Over a third of the country is forested, and a chunk of it about as big as the US interior Highlands
is actually covered by Caspian Hyrcanian mixed forests, a tropical oak forest that receives well over
35 inches of rain a year.

The forest is home to Lynx, Brown bears, Wild Boars, Jungle Cats, Wolves, Jackals,leopards, and otters.
It also formerly had native populations of both tigers and lions, hunted to extinction.
