Just beautiful, Mike...glad I'm looking at it from the warmth of my chair though! Did you find any sign?

No we did not see any sign, but I could see why nothing would want to stay in the low clouds for weeks at a time in below freezing temps. We even had a roll over on the way up on the trail, but nobody was hurt.

Went to the valley Saturday night, got there about 3 and that time only only Mission man had canceled (got called in to work). I got my laptop out and was going thur some sd cards and got tired and put the laptop up and got my recliner out. You could kids playing at the creek crossing, and I fell asleep and I was snoring Im sure. When I woke and looked in front of me something moved behind vines in front of me. I would not of thought much about it but a few seconds later there was wood breaking. I thought dam and got up and there is a deep ditch that came up to the vines it had a place to escape. About 30 mins later there was a loud wood break and later a rock clak. At that time I had not heard from DW so I went up the hill to get phone reception to check if I had any messages. Nothing came up, so time I got back down the hill it was almost dark. I sat there till after 9 and the only thing I could hear was the bugs. Since nobody else showed up I went home to slept in my bed. At home about 1030 my phone went off and it was a message from DW at 330 say he was grounded and would not be out.

I see those kinds of tree structures from time to time, and I always wonder what is and what is not natural as opposed to 'sasquatch-made' if you will pardon the pun...
