Missing Link
A Young Swedish anthropology student said he wants to search in British Columbia for a relative of the abominable snowman of the Himalayas.
Rene Dahinden, 26, who has lived 3 ½ years in Canada, said he is convinced that Indian legends about Sasquatch, a primitive mountain giant, are no myths.
Dahinden said he would ask the B.C. centennial committee to help him organize an expedition in connection with 1958 celebrations.
The Sasquatch said by Indians to be a hairy monster, probably is “closely allied” with the abominable snowman of the Nepal mountains, said Dahinden.
