Tomagami Island Hoax PDF Print E-mail

The summer of 2008 seems to be the summer of hoaxes, or as one MABRC forum member has categorized it, the Summer of H*ll.

Not only did we have the Georgia Body Hoax, but we also had the Tomagami Island hoax.  The individual behind this actually tried to use the MABRC as their proxy to bring this hoax to the world, but they didn't realize that the MABRC would honor their word not to release the photos to anyone.

So instead, the pictures were released to someone on the bigfootforums.com site...............

.......and within days of it's release, it was discovered to be a hoax, along with it actually being a publicity stunt for a movie that had been 2 years in the making.

These are two of the pictures that were released on the BFF, the MABRC photos were basically the same, except someone else's name was posted on it for the copyright.  The MABRC had possession of these photos for several months prior to this, and was in the process of trying to obtain more info about the background related to these pictures.  The person who sent them to the MABRC did not respond to the requests, so the investigation was suspended until they did.
