April 4, 2009 was a great day in Stigler, Oklahoma as the inaugural Stigler Bigfoot Conference saw over 100 folks show up to listen to presentations given by the MABRC, viewing table-top presentations and talk with the researchers about sightings and more.

Great food was available and the vendor created a special cake, shown here.

Presentations included History of the MABRC and Research currently being conducted in Oklahoma, How to conduct your own research, a public viewing of "Bigfootville" provided by one of the producers, Hoaxes 101-How to spot hoaxes, The importance of turning in sighting reports and various video clips were also shown.

During the breaks, folks crowded around the MABRC Researchers to ask questions, talk about their sightings and even took pictures with them.

Some MABRC members even spent the night out in the field where they managed to do some listening with parabolic devices for any vocalizations.  Various vocalizations and wood knocks were heard, and analysis is ongoing with the audio.

Here are some more pictures from the conference.

Even in the field, Darkwing keeps in touch with the MABRC Forums. And the MABRC Researchers that showed up to help make the conference a rousing success.
