1. Is the small 3 acre lake that is kept well-stocked by the state and is also spring fed. 
2. First structure that was classified as a possible territory marker. 
3. Second structure that was classified as a possible territory marker. It appeared suddenly during an absence of any storms or high winds. 
4. The High-voltage powerline right-of-way that runs through the heart of the area and connects this area to the other two research areas GCBRC monitor. 
5. What appeared to be a half-finished shelter was found in this area, a large diameter tree was found pulled over into a bow shape, with a large 50+ pound rock holding the branches end down on the ground. 
6. The large ridgeline (Bluffs) that extend in an irregular crescent back into the woods for about a mile and provides excellant hiding areas.
